From Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber to David Beckham's son Brooklyn, some of the world's most famous people produce offspring who are pretty successful themselves.
The latest contender? Jude Law's 21-year-old lookalike son Rafferty.
With 33,000 Instagram followers, model and musician Raff (as he is often called) is a well-known face on runways, a producer of his own music, and one of the founders of the creative collective Something to Hate On, which he plans to turn into an independent record label.
It doesn't hurt that he's the spitting image of his famous father, either.
Scroll on for a look at the curious life of Rafferty Law.
Recognise this man? No, it's not a young Jude Law — it's his eldest son, Rafferty, often called Raff or Raffi.
At the age of 21, Rafferty is a model, musician, and entrepreneur with more than 33,000 Instagram followers.
Model Ashley Graham recently posted a video of herself working out on Instagram.
The video was met with negative comments, prompting Graham to respond.
In a second Instagram post she told commenters that she works out to boost her internal health and her energy levels — not to change the way she looks.
"I don't work out to loose [sic] weight or curves, [because] I love the skin I'm in," she wrote.
While most of the video's comments expressed admiration for Graham's strength, there were plenty that focused on the size of her body.
Some were outright mean. "She actually works out?" one commenter wrote. "How is she still so fat?"
Others worried that Graham's workouts would change her body too much. "Don't be getting too skinny on me Ashley," one person wrote. "I love you because of your curves!"
The comments seem opposed — one critical, one supportive — but they're both misguided, as Graham explained in a follow-up Instagram post shared later on Sunday.
"EVERYTIME after I post a workout video I get comments like ... 'You'll never be skinny so stop trying,' 'Don't workout too hard, you'll get skinny,' 'You still need your fat to be a model,' 'Why would you want to loose [sic] what made you famous,'" Graham wrote in the post. "
Graham went on to explain that her motivations for working out have nothing to do with appearance.
"Just for the record I work out to: stay healthy, feel good, get rid of jet lag, clear my head, show big girls we can move like the rest of 'em, stay flexible and strong, gave more energy," she wrote. "I don't workout to loose [sic] weight or my curves, [because] I love the skin I'm in."
Appearance is not the only motivator for exercise. People might choose to work out solely for the stress relief, the feeling of a good sweat, the improvement in their blood pressure or cholesterol, the gains of strength. In fact, some studies suggest that people who work out for health-related reasons — rather than appearance-related reasons — have a healthier body image.
Luckily, it seems plenty of Graham's fans already know this.
"I don't understand why people think that working out is only to get skinny!" one person commented on Graham's second Instagram post. "Keep it up!!! Focus on your HEALTH!"
That makes her first cousins with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian.
It turns out there may be another Kardashian to keep up with. Enter Natalie Zettel, an 18-year-old model and Kardashian cousin who you've probably never heard of before, and who we first read about on Who What Wear.
Zettel's mom is Karen Houghton, who is Kris Jenner's sister, Elle first reported. This means that Zettel isn't technically a Kardashian or a Jenner — instead, she's a Houghton, which is Kris' maiden name. This makes her first cousins with Kendall, Kylie, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob.
In 2013, Zettel told Star that she likes to "do normal people stuff." And although she isn't technically a Kardashian or Jenner, from the looks of her Instagram, it appears that the California teen is following in her cousin Kendall's footsteps and launching a promising modeling career.
Take a look at some photos she recently posted on Instagram.
Model Cameron Russell is sharing harrowing stories of sexual harassment experienced by other models in the fashion industry on Instagram.
The model began calling for anonymous stories of sexual assault and harassment on Thursday.
She has since shared over 40 posts detailing a disturbing pattern of abuse.
Both female and male models, as well as a female photographer, have sent her stories claiming they were assaulted by photographers, who asked them to pose naked or made sexual advances.
Russell's ongoing Instagram project comes in the wake of the allegations of sexual harassment against the film producer Harvey Weinstein.
However, the disturbing pattern of sexual abuse revealed by the scandal is not confined to the film industry.
On Thursday, model Cameron Russell began sharing harrowing stories of sexual harassment other models say they have experienced in the fashion world on Instagram.
In her first post, Russell recounted the story of a model friend who claimed she was abused when she was 15 during a test shoot with a photographer. Because the photographer is still working in the fashion industry, Russell explained, her friend wanted to speak up so others might feel empowered to do the same, but wished to remain anonymous.
Editor's note: Some people will find this content disturbing.
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 12, 2017 at 12:30pm PDT on
During the shoot, the model claims the photographer touched her vagina. She said her stepmother was on the shoot with her, but in another room at the time.
"She had no idea he put his fingers deep down in my v few times [sic] as he was shooting pics of me, saying this will make pics look more sensual," she wrote.
In the caption of her post, Cameron called for others in the industry to share their own stories anonymously by messaging her directly or publicly with the hashtag #MyJobShouldNotIncludeAbuse to raise awareness of sexual assault.
"We need a way to begin breaking the silence while remaining protected. We are not talking about one, five, or even twenty men. We are talking about a culture of exploitation and it must stop," she wrote, adding that, "Hearing about #harveyweinstein this week has sparked conversations about how widespread and how familiar his behavior is."
Russell has since shared over 40 posts that allege other instances of sexual abuse from models, both men and women, as well as a female photographer.
One model claims a photographer tried to push her into giving him oral sex during a test shoot, and even told her that it was "part of the audition." She said the altercation has left her feeling "ashamed."
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 12, 2017 at 1:40pm PDT on
Another model, whose gender is unclear, said they were at a party when a female editor approached them for a "nude" photo and a male photographer volunteered to take the picture.
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 12, 2017 at 2:49pm PDT on
Someone else in the industry claims that she was 16 when a photographer assaulted her. She alleges that he touched her vagina after he instructed her to remove her clothes.
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 12, 2017 at 7:14pm PDT on
Another said that she was underage when a well-known photographer asked her to pose naked, and he allegedly told her that "nothing would happen if he didn't publish" the images.
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 12, 2017 at 2:00pm PDT on
While many other models shared disturbing experiences they've had, including being told to strip naked and dealing with sexual advances from photographers, it's not just models who have reported facing harassment in the industry.
A female photographer sent Russell her story about another photographer who she claims tried to kiss her, and told her to leave her boyfriend.
A post shared by Cameron Russell (@cameronrussell) on Oct 13, 2017 at 9:31am PDT on
In the caption of Russell's first post in her ongoing series, she discussed how difficult it can be to open up about sexual assault.
"When [that behavior is] the norm, calling [it] out can feel disruptive and unprofessional," she wrote. "On many occasions I've been called a feminist for reporting unwanted groping, spanking, pinching, pressure for dates, phone calls and texts of a sexual nature, lack of appropriate changing areas, etc. And because the response has always been 'are you surprised?' or 'that's part of the job' I tolerated them."
She continued: "When the offenses were bigger, calling them out is terrifying, and demands a level of exposure and backlash to what is already painful and sometimes shameful."
The model's growing number of Instagram posts alleging instances of sexual harassment point to a problem that is present not just in Hollywood and the fashion world, but in many other industries. Hopefully, these stories will inspire others to speak out and put an end to such abuse.

Photos of 19-year-old college student Anok Yai recently went viral on Instagram.
Her photos caught the attention of people on social media — and modeling agencies.
Three agencies have already reached out, but Yai hasn't committed to any of them yet.
Social media can be a powerful tool. Though it can often be a vehicle for trolls and negativity, sometimes it can make people's dreams come true.
That was recently the case for 19-year-old college student Anok Yai. Photos of the South Sudanese student taken during one of Howard University's homecoming events recently went viral and have led to some exciting career prospects.
A post shared by TheSUNK|The Shit U Need 2 Know (@thesunk) on Oct 21, 2017 at 2:56pm PDT on
The photos were posted on the Instagram account theSUNK and have since been liked over 11,000 times. But people didn't just like the photo — they also widely shared the post in an effort to get Yai noticed by modeling agencies.
do i hear modeling contract??????? ugh i'm so proud of you, babe KEEP KILLIN IT SIS😘☺️
The Plymouth State University student told The Boston Globe she didn't know what to expect when her photos first went viral.
"My phone just started vibrating rapidly for a long, long time," she told the Globe. "At first, I honestly thought someone made a meme of me or something."
The photos certainly spread as quickly as a meme, though the intent was much more positive. Yai says she's heard from three modeling agencies so far, which is more than she ever expected.
"It was a dream that I always wanted, but I wasn't sure if it was going to happen," she said.
A post shared by Anok (änôk yī) (@anokyai) on Oct 21, 2017 at 11:16am PDT on
Though it's unclear what she will do next, Yai told Yahoo Lifestyle that she's taking her time to make the decision that's right for her.
"I’ve had a few offers here and there," she told Yahoo. "But I’m keeping my options open for now, before I make a decision on who I want to commit to."
Whether she jumps headfirst into modeling or continues her studies, she seems to have plenty of promising opportunities ahead of her.
INSIDER has reached out to Anok Yai and theSUNK for comment.
People are freaking out because if you search "brassiere" on the Apple Photos app, the program recognizes pictures where a person's chest or bra is visible.
A Twitter user pointed out this function on Monday, and model Chrissy Teigen confirmed that it's true.
Apple technology can recognize over 4,000 objects in pictures, including zucchini, aquarium, and eyeglasses.
It was first implemented in June 2016 as a part of iOS 10 and was fine-tuned for the September 2017 release of iOS 11.
The data is stored locally and securely on the device.
It looks like our smartphones are more intelligent than we thought. As it turns out, when you search for the term "brassiere" in the Photos app on your iPhone, the program recognizes pictures with any visible chests, lingerie, or bathing suits.
The internet went into a frenzy when a Twitter user pointed out this disturbing function.
ATTENTION ALL GIRLS ALL GIRLS!!! Go to your photos and type in the ‘Brassiere’ why are apple saving these and made it a folder!!?!!?😱😱😱😱
The original tweet has gone viral since it was posted on Monday, with over 13,000 retweets and 25,000 likes by Tuesday afternoon.
The discovery even reached model Chrissy Teigen, who confirmed that the original poster was correct.
It's true. If u type in "brassiere" in the search of your iphotos, it has a category for every boob or cleavage pic you've ever taken. Why. pic.twitter.com/KWWmJoRneJ
Strangely enough, this function isn't exactly new. Apple first rolled out the object detection feature as a part of iOS 10 in June 2016, according to the Verge. At the time, Apple said that this information is locally stored and therefore private.
Bras aren't the only object that the Photos app recognizes. According to Medium user Kenny Yin, Apple's software can detect over 4,000 words and phrases in pictures — including zucchini, aquarium, and eyeglasses.
• Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen met through a friend back in 2006 — and it was pretty much love at first sight.
• The couple married in a tiny wedding ceremony in 2009.
• Today, the quarterback and the supermodel largely live outside of Boston with their two children.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen give new meaning to the word power couple.
The Patriots quarterback is the only NFL player to win five Super Bowls playing for the same team. The Brazilian supermodel has frequently ranked on lists of the wealthiest and most powerful women in entertainment.
The pair spoke for three hours that night, and they haven't stopped since. "From the first day we met, we've never spent one day without speaking to each other," Bundchen said.

"You look absolutely stunning with bangs, they belong to your forehead dude," someone commented on the picture. "Bangs on point," another person wrote.
However, because of how she posed with her hood pulled up, it's difficult to tell if the model actually got bangs. Since her post on Sunday, Hadid hasn't addressed her change in hairdo or posted any new pictures of herself.
But upon closer examination of the selfie, it appears that this is probably a faux haircut.
Long strands of hair are clearly visible amid her shaggy, short bangs. If Hadid actually got a haircut, it's likely that her bangs would be a bit more uniform.
Still, Hadid's fans are losing it over the haircut and are saying that this hairstyle makes her look like other celebrities.
Some think that the model looks like Audrey Hepburn from "Breakfast at Tiffany's."
"You look like Audrey Hepburn," one person commented. "Audrey Hepburn vibes," someone else said. "Old Hollywood-esque!" a third person chimed in.
One person even said that Hadid looks like Kris Jenner with this haircut. "Kris Jenner looks amazing here," someone commented on the picture of Hadid.
While it's easy to see the resemblance, we still don't know for sure if Hadid actually got a haircut. But as her newfound look-alike would say, Hadid's hairstyle is truly a case for the FBI.

You can buy it at H&M for $15 in stores, and $60 online.
It's a perfect way to spice up your closet of dark winter coats.
Gigi Hadid wore a bright red puffy jacket, and now we all want to wear bright red puffy jackets.
On Tuesday, Hadid hit the streets of New York City bundled up in a festive coat from H&M— and it's totally affordable. At the time of this post, the Padded Jacket with Hood is still availableonline for $60, and you can find it in stores on sale for $15, according to InStyle.
The model's bold choice of outerwear completely stands out in the sea of neutral jackets that tend to dominate the winter fashion scene, and it's really getting us in the holiday spirit.
However, if the red is too much of a statement, you can still steal Hadid's look, as the jacket is also available in khaki green, black, and camel.
Hadid opted to pair her puffy jacket with a soft, zip-up turtleneck, joggers detailed with red and white stripes along the sides, and her hair in loosely tousled waves, making her sporty look seem effortless. The oldest Hadid sister has proved herself to be the queen of tastefully mixing high and low fashion, and worn items from H&M before.
Because the jacket is so versatile, you can go for a casual vibe like the Victoria's Secret model, or you can just as easily rock it over a little black dress with black tights and patent ankle booties. Either way, it demands attention. To get it before it sells out, buy Hadid's jacket on H&M here.

Turner discussed this issue in her recent Instagram post, where she shared two photos of herself. In one image, she is posed and angled. In the other, her body is relaxed.
Editor's note: If you click through the image above, you can see more photos.
"Truth is I'm a curvy girl with a belly, thunder thighs, and back fat and I’ve [sic] learned to accept it," she wrote in the caption. "I remember I hated my body so much that I thought cutting my legs to drain blood out [of] them would make me thinner, and that being fat was the worst thing I could be."
Turner wrote that she doesn't talk much about self-harm and depression because she struggles to speak about it. She wrote that she knows she shouldn't be ashamed of her mental illness and that mental illness is real.
The post, which currently has more than 9,000 likes, has resonated with her followers.
"Please, please don't hate your body. You're beautiful, you're perfect," one person commented.
"Think you look utterly beautiful, such amazing confidence,"someone else wrote. "You will help inspire other girls to know they are beautiful just the way they are."
Turner told INSIDER in an e-mail that she was inspired to create the post because she wanted to be real with her followers.
"I feel like I get a lot of comments saying I should love myself because I'm lucky to be [an] hourglass [shape]," she said. "I wanted to show people that because my body is a 'trend' right now and that I still have insecurities."
She hopes people realize that Instagram isn't reality, and that confidence and self-love have nothing to do with being slim or curvy.
"We need to look at people beyond their size," she said. "My life isn't perfect, and I was depressed for a long time because I didn't feel perfect."
As for the discussion on mental health as a whole, Turner thinks it's less talked, not only because it's a sensitive subject, but because people are scared of being judged.
"I do hope to see more influencers speak out about mental health as it's more common than people think," she said. "There is help out there, and we shouldn't be ashamed to speak about mental health, we need to raise awareness."
Read Turner's full Instagram caption below:
Perspective and angles... I know my angles and what makes me look more hourglass and what makes me look fat. Truth is im a curvy girl with a belly, thunder thighs and back fat and I’ve learnt [sic] to accept it. I remember I hated my body so much that I thought cutting my legs to drain blood out them would make me thinner and that being fat was the worst thing I could be. I don’t talk about self harm and my depression because it’s something which I struggle to speak about to this day It’s something I’m ashamed of and I know I shouldn’t be. #Mentalhealth is a real illness and it’s so important to put ourselves first and to love all those who support us I always need to remember I started this page because 16 year old me would of benefited from seeing models my size and having confidence!

Ninety-three women are vying for the title of Miss Universe 2017.
The 66th Miss Universe Pageant will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday and features the most women competing for the title in pageant history.
Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham are hosting, while Fergie and Rachel Platten will perform. Fans can watch the competition live Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.
Taking a look at this year's competitors, we've picked 20 of this year's front runners based on social media popularity, their goals as Miss Universe, Las Vegas betting odds, and personal opinion.
Meet the 20 contestants you should keep an eye on during this year's pageant.
Maria Poonlertlarp is Miss Thailand.
The 25-year-old from Bangkok has a bachelor's degree in international business management and a master's in marketing. She works to promote safe-sex practices for teens in Thailand. She's also passionate about the environment and strives to educate people on the importance of protecting it.
Kára McCullough is Miss USA.
The 26-year-old from Washington D.C. works as a scientist for the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Having earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry, with a concentration in radiochemistry, McCullough works to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) programs for kids. She started a community outreach program called "Science Exploration for Kids."
Miss USA did cause some controversy when she called herself an "equalist" instead of a "feminist" at the Miss USA Pageant.
"The word feminism means different things to different generations, different groups of people, gender, I mean, it's different across every aspect of life," she said. "That is why I just wanted to classify and just change the word to equalist. Using the word equalism."
Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is Miss South Africa.
The 22-year-old earned a degree in business management and developed a program, called Unbreakable, to help train women in self-defense. She was inspired by a personal experience shortly after being crowned Miss South Africa where she was held at gunpoint and robbed.
He noted that the workout isn't a quick fix but is part of a long-term healthy workout plan.
Victoria's Secret models take their workouts seriously. And they definitely don't slow things down when the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show comes around.
Because the models continuously workout, their trainer StephenPasterino knows that they don't need to do any quick-fixes before the big show.
"If you can create a sustainable long-term program, which the girls I've been working out have been [following], and you establish a very healthy diet very early on, you can get your body to look amazing without doing anything crazy," Pasterino, owner of P.volve fitness, told INSIDER.
Pasterino trains models Blanca Padilla and NadineLeopold, and traveled to China this week to fine-tune their bodies before the show.
"These girls are all already in exceptional shape, so basically it's reinforcing that strength but also fine-tuning the parts of their body that are going to be showing [...] on the runway," he said. "The biggest focus is going to be on their butt and their thighs, that's what's showing and it's the most difficult part of the body to really define and tone."
Luckily for the models, the workouts they do days before the show aren't too different from what they do regularly. Pasterino said the girls also eat the same way they always do, and have no need to manipulate their water or cut out all carbs. This idea of balance points back to Pasterino's idea that the body is a pendulum.
"When you do something ... like water manipulation you're throwing that pendulum all the way over here, depleting yourself, and then it just comes swinging the other way," he said. "I use that example to explain to people why extremes send you all out of whack; you really lose that long-term goal when you are swinging back and forth."
Instead of all that swinging, Pasterino advocates for a well-balanced exercise and diet routine. Here's the workout he did with the Padilla and Leopold before the show, with moves you can incorporate into your own workout.
High leg lifts
For this total-body move, you'll need 3-pound ankle weights. To start, pull your knee straight to your waist at about a 90-degree angle. Make sure to keep your leg high. Then, tap your foot down onto a bench or chair like Nadine did in the picture above. Slowly lift your leg back up, pull your knee back into your waist, and keep your butt pushed back.
Front inward thigh dip
This move also requires 3-pound ankle weights. Start by pulling your knee to your waist. Instead of lowering is straight down, cross it in front of your standing leg. Dip your leg down two to three inches before pulling your leg up from the top of the thigh. Your standing knee and butt should be pushed back.
Inside diagonal press
Start this exercise with one foot on a glider. Press your leg straight back at an inside angle. Squeeze the glutes at the end of the range, and pull your leg back into a normal stance.
In a recent Instagram post, fitness Instagrammer and bikini designer Karina Irby shared how many photos she took to get the perfect picture.
Irby posted two pictures, as well as a screenshot of her camera roll.
She hopes that seeing these images will help people understand that candid Instagram photos are typically very staged.
Instagram is known for housing beautiful, perfect, and often unrealistic images. Fitness Instagrammer and bikini designer Karina Irby has previously spoken out about the Photoshop that goes into making the perfect picture. Now, the 27-year-old is shedding light on the planning and effort it takes to get a great candid photo.
Irby shared two photos of herself. In one, she is looking away from the camera and pretending to lick a rainbow pictured in the background. In the other, she is looking directly at the camera with her tongue out. Irby also shared a third image: A screenshot of all the photos she took before capturing "the one."
Editor's note: If you click through the image above, you can see more photos.
"Next time you're feeling bad on yourself after looking at someone's gorgeous photo on Instagram remember that it probably wasn't a candid moment," Irby wrote in the caption. "We're all guilty of it. You take a few (hundred) shots before you get 'the one.'"
Irby wrote that most people don't post the awkward "in between" shots because they look "bad." She said that she took 25 photos before getting it right.
INSIDER reached out to Irby for comment, but had not heard back at the time of publication.
The photo currently has more than 9,000 likes and comments from people who love — and relate — to Irby and her message.
"Yep. I do the exact same thing," one person wrote. "The words were literally just coming out of my mouth," someone else commented. "We're all guilty of it. Personally, I stopped comparing myself to others girls and started to accept me," another person wrote.
Irby hopes that this "relatable reality check" will help you take Instagram photos a little less seriously, and stop you from making comparisons. Research has shown that comparing yourself to others can result in self-doubt and negative self-talk, especially amongst women. Remember to take every image you see with a grain of salt. Although they may seem perfect, there's likely photoshopping and tons of takes behind that "perfect" photo.

Kendall Jenner is the highest-paid model in the world.
Jenner’s earnings totalled £16.6m ($22m) this year, according to Forbes.
Gisele Bündchen had been the highest-paid model for 15 years before Jenner knocked her off top spot.
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen - the highest-paid model in the world for 15 years - has finally been knocked off the top spot.
Kendall Jenner has knocked Bündchen off the top spot for the first time since 2002, after leveraging her reality star fame to become the most profitable model in the industry.
Although a relative newcomer to the world of high-fashion modelling, especially when compared to 37-year-old veteran Giselle, Jenner - half-sister of Kim Kardashian-West has taken the industry by storm.
According to Forbes, Jenner’s earnings totalled £16.6m ($22m) this year, which "are in large part due to deals with Estee Lauder, La Perla and Adidas, among others, in addition to her Kendall + Kylie clothing line" she shares with her sister. Jenner’s earnings also come from her family’s outrageously popular reality TV show, and the money she rakes in through social media endorsements targeted to her 85 million followers.
Somewhat surprisingly, Jenner, who is just 22 years old, has already scored some extremely covetable modelling opportunities, including"a cover on Vogue’s September issue, a lead spot on the Marc Jacobs Runway, and as the face of Estee Lauder."
However, social media may have been one of Jenner's biggest earners. According to Forbes, "This year's list is dominated by Insta-girls, including the Instagram-famous sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid."
As Ivan Bart, president at IMG Models, explained: "With social media, there are more opportunities to create your own content and use your voice, and the stars are using it."
Overall, it seems like 2017 was an excellent year for Jenner, despite the distasteful Pepsi incident she was involved in earlier in the year. Fortunately for Jenner, it does not seem like it affected her millions.
As for Bündchen, this year the model earned a mere £13.2m ($17.5m), putting her securely in second place and £3m ($4m) ahead of third place Chrissy Teigen, who made the Forbes list for the first time.
Who else is wondering how Bündchen feels about losing her first place crown? We can take a guess...
Supermodel Crawford, 51, shared a photo of her 16-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber in high school next to one of her own high school photos to show how similar the two look. Though Crawford's hair may be a little larger than Gerber's, the resemblance is striking.
“School pics, now and then," she captioned her photo.
A post shared by Cindy Crawford (@cindycrawford) on Nov 21, 2017 at 11:36am PST on
It's no surprise then that teen has followed in her supermodel mom's footsteps. Gerber signed to IMG Models in 2015 and made her debut at New York Fashion Week in 2017.
The 30-year-old model is returning to the pageant as a backstage host and spoke with Fox News about the Miss Universe pageant.
"If you can see a curvy girl on the cover of Sports Illustrated or Vogue, then we can definitely see a curvy girl as Miss Universe," she said.
Graham made history herself as the the first size 14 model to ever be featured on the covers of both Sports Illustrated and Vogue.
The model said she returned to the competition, because showing body diversity was important.
"I think that it's really important that we continue to show diversity of all sizes, ethnicities, backgrounds and religion. So for me, I’m here to show diversity of size," she said. "Because not yet have we had a curvy girl in Miss Universe or even in the Miss USA pageant."
She also added that the competition should focus on more than just beauty, even though that is part of the pageant.
"But if you really start to pick apart and manipulate a woman because of how they look, then you’re not really getting to the soul and the heart of who they are and how they can really be a voice and a face for the universe," she said. "For me, this is a time where I am just giving encouragement to all the girls to be who they are, to remind them that they got here and they had a long road to get here and they worked very hard. And to remember to stay true to who they are."

Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters became Miss Universe Sunday night.
She answered a fan-submitted question on combating sexual harassment.
She said that women together are "unbreakable."
Nel-Peters developed a program called Unbreakable that trains women in self-defense.
She was inspired after she was robbed at gunpoint.
Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, Miss South Africa, became Miss Universe Sunday night. Before she was crowned, the new pageant winner shared her thoughts on sexual harassment.
"If women take hands and stand together, we are unbreakable, and we can say no to the things that are wrong in the workplace, at home or wherever you might go," the 22-year-old said in response to a fan-submitted question on what men and women can do to combat sexual misconduct.
Nel-Peters is an advocate of women's rights. She created her own program called Unbreakable which seeks to train women in self-defense. The pageant winner started the program after she was robbed at gunpoint shortly after she was crowned as Miss South Africa.
She also holds a degree in business management.
The other top finalists included Jamaica as the second runner-up and Colombia as runner-up.
"As Miss Universe, you have to be confident in who you are as an individual," she said. "And Miss Universe is a woman that has overcome many fears, and by that, she is able to help other women overcome their fears. She is a woman that nothing is ever too much to ask for, and I think that is exactly who I am."
"I was in @tkmaxx the other day trying on a dress and had to snap this picture to share with you all," she wrote in the caption of the post. "I don't really wear short dresses as my legs are my biggest insecurity and the lighting made it show so much worse. I hate changing rooms for this reason."
Turner continued to say that the lighting in fitting rooms "shows up everything," and that she has to remind herself of her leg's amazing qualities.
She told INSIDER in an e-mail that she posted the photo for her followers to show them that changing rooms can be "bad for our self-confidence" and that they have the "worst lighting."
"I have had cellulite since around 12 years old, and I've gone through phases of extreme exercise and diet to get rid of it, but it's something which doesn't budge with me," she said. "I used to get so annoyed because it made me so self-conscious. Cellulite is natural and it doesn't determine how healthy I am or what my diet is."
The post has received more than 11,000 likes and comments from people who both hate changing rooms and have cellulite.
"Thank you for the reminder that cellulite and all our legs are amazing. You are a beautiful person inside and out," one person wrote. "I absolutely hate changing rooms oh my god, they make you feel like s--- don't they. POWER TO THE CELLULITE GIRL," another person commented. "True. What really matter[s] is where our legs take us," someone else wrote.
Turner said she still hates changing rooms, and has some advice for people who feel the same way about buying clothes in-stores.
"Go [shopping] with a friend to make it more fun and get someone's opinion that you trust," she said. If that's not an option, she recommends shopping online.
Turner's post shows that even people who are body-positive still have moment's where they aren't 100 percent confident — and that's totally OK.

Ladies!! Who else has #cellulite on the back of their legs? I was in @tkmaxx the other day trying on a dress and had to snap this picture to share with you all. I don't really wear short dresses as my legs are my biggest insecurity and the lighting made it show so much worse. I hate changing rooms for this reason! It's a small room which shows up everything!! I have to remind myself that : - my legs able me to walk - my legs are super strong - I need big legs to carry my big butt - cellulite is normal - changing rooms are the worst places as the light is directly above us - and I can wear whatever I want
